BaZi cannot prove why another person will not commit. A chart does not establish fear of marriage, emotional sincerity, hidden motives or a promise that someone will eventually change. Those are questions of behavior and evidence.

What BaZi can examine is more precise: whether relationship opportunity and relationship formalization occur under the same timing; whether the Spouse Palace and spouse-related forces are being repeatedly reorganized; whether the Day Master can carry the practical responsibilities of partnership; and whether the current Great Luck makes relationship a sustained ten-year theme or only produces short annual bursts of activity.

When reading the question in the title, I would first examine the reader's own Spouse Palace, not invent a diagnosis for every partner. If the Palace is repeatedly activated by Luck and years while the supporting relationship forces remain diverted into other structures, relationships may become important without becoming stable at the same speed.

Second, I would examine spouse-related forces in the full chart. Their presence indicates that relationship material exists; it does not assign a specific person or guarantee legal commitment. Strength, rooting, support, control and Day Master capacity matter.

Third, the Great Luck hierarchy matters. A single annual attraction or relationship activation may occur inside a decade dominated by career, relocation, family obligations or identity restructuring. One active year is not the same as a decade in which partnership becomes a sustained organizing theme.

Finally, commitment must be verified in reality. Public acknowledgment, shared plans, legal marriage, financial integration, caregiving and other concrete responsibilities are observable.
